When To Cut Monkey Grass Back?

Monkey grass, also known as liriope muscari, is typically cut back once a year at the end of winter, or in early spring. By doing this, you will encourage healthy growth and fullness, and reduce the risk of the plant becoming overgrown. Cut the grass to the ground, or to a height of 4-6 inches.

Don’t worry if the grass appears sparse – it will quickly fill in following the trimming.
