ingXingxing is a Rhesus Macaque monkey. The Rhesus Macaque is a species of Old World monkey that is native to South and Southeast Asia.

It has grey-brown fur that lightens in color on its underside, and a pink face with unique markings that are used to distinguish individuals. Xingxing can have other distinguishing features like facial piercings but these don’t refer to any species and only Xingxing can have them. The species is part of the Cercopithecinae family which consists of some 197 species that includes the baboons, macaques, and guenons.
