The ugliest monkey in the world is likely the mandrill, which is native to Africa. This primate is characterized by its colorful face, bearded muzzle, and long canine teeth. Another habitat in which the mandrill is found is the tropical rainforest biome, so the primate can cope with the humid conditions and warm temperatures that the rainforest provides.
Despite its impressive physique and a long tail, the mandrill is an unappealing mammal due to its blue and reddish colors. Some mandrills attain bright yellow color hue, but this doesn’t make it more attractive.
