The largest monkey in the world is the huge Mandrill. This monkey is one of the two species belonging to the genus Mandrillus, the other being the Drill.
It can reach lengths of up to 75 cm (30 in) and weights of up to 35 kg (77 lbs), with males being much larger than females. The Mandrill is also notable for its colorful face and rear end, making it one of the most recognizable primates.
