A Squirrel Monkey is a small, diurnal monkey native to Central and South America. It is a member of the family Cebidae and is notable for its small size, roughly 30 to 44 cm long not including the tail, which may be longer than the body.
Their fur is mainly gray, with yellow and white markings on the head and back. Additionally, the tail is almost hairless and strictly used for balance when the monkey leaps from branch to branch.
