A **Marmoset Monkey** is a small primate species that resides in tropical and subtropical regions of South America. Noted for its diminutive size partially due to its short tail, Marmosets have distinctively soft fur that ranges in color from off-white to gray, to golden, and most notably black.
They have long hind legs which aid in their effective leaping between branches and acrobatic movements. Due to their mild temperament and small size, the Marmoset is commonly kept as a pet in certain regions in South America and in select parts of the world.
