Aaron Kaufman, one of the main cast members on the Discovery show Gas Monkey Garage, left the show at the end of the 2016 season. Although there were no official statements from Aaron or the show, it’s rumored that Aaron left because he was unhappy with the direction the show was taking and wanted to pursue his own ambitions. After leaving Gas Monkey Garage, Aaron started a new show called Shifting Gears with Aaron Kaufman, which follows his journey as he fixes up cars all around the United States.
