There is no way to get a free monkey legally. Monkeys are often classed as exotic animals and therefore require specific permits and licenses to own one.
Some pet stores will also sell monkeys for a large sum of money. Additionally, many animal sanctuaries will occasionally rescue and rehome monkeys, but they charge an adoption fee to responsible owners.
