It is important to remember that monkey bars require a good balance and coordination. To begin, grip the bars firmly with an overhand grip and lift your body off of the ground. Using your arms and shoulders to pull your body up, transfer from one monkey bar to the next by lifting one arm off while pushing off with another.
It may take practice before you can move continuously from one side of the monkey bars to the other. To avoid falling, be sure you place your arms and legs in the proper position.
Keep your arms slightly bent while you move, and use your feet to swing your body. Most importantly, remember to have fun and enjoy the challenge!
