In order to legally possess a monkey in Texas, you must also submit documentation to the state that includes up-to-date veterinary records, proof of vaccinations and proof that the monkey has been inspected for all communicable diseases. You must also provide adequate housing, as well as a veterinarian to provide ongoing healthcare.
