edCatching Monkey Pops is done by either setting a trap, hunting, or baiting. When setting a trap, long ropes and sticks are used to snare and close in the Monkey Pop. When hunting, a hunter will use a net and spear, or a combination of both, to capture the Monkey Pop.
Alternatively, some hunters will use bait to lure the Monkey Pop into an area for easy capture. Once either of these methods are successful, the hunter must then use a cage or some other form of enclosure to safely restrain the Monkey Pop until it is released.
