A Sea Monkey, or brine shrimp, typically grows up to five millimeters long at maturity. They are microscopic crustaceans, and since they have no skeleton, they become transparent and nearly impossible to see as they get bigger. Thus, although they can grow larger than five millimeters in length, they are still generally viewed as microscopic animals.
